Michael Silverman is a digital accessibility strategist, consultant, advisor, and expert witness with 20 years of professional experience helping state governments, startups, small and mid-sized businesses, and Fortune 500 companies develop ADA-compliant accessibility programs, targeted remediation plans, and documentation built to withstand regulatory and litigation scrutiny. He has been retained as a digital accessibility consultant and expert witness by both plaintiff and defense attorneys to evaluate digital accessibility claims, assess legal exposure, build credible evidentiary records, and provide expert testimony. To date, Mr. Silverman has consulted on more than 140 digital accessibility cases across sectors including healthcare, hospitality, professional services, automotive and mobility, real estate and property management, retail and consumer brands, entertainment, transportation and travel, and technology — including AI platforms and Software-as-a-Service products. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa, a Master’s degree with a specialization in assistive technology from Northern Illinois University, and is a Certified Professional in Accessibility through the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).

Alabama

Requirements

The Alabama State Bar MCLE Commission requires attorneys to complete 12 credits, including 1 ethics, by December 31 of each year. All credits must be reported by February 15 of the following year. A maximum of 12 credits, including 1 ethics credit, may be carried over for 1 year only.  

Formats

  • Attorneys can earn unlimited “live” credit through live seminars, live webcasts, and co-sponsored locations with MyLAWCLE-Alabama approved programs
  • Attorneys are limited to 6 credits per compliance period of “online” programs through MyLAwCLE On-Demand programs
