Program Summary

The effective date of the expanded requirements of NJ’s mini-Warn law is set for April 10, 2023; but those changes are impacting employers now. Join us for a discussion of the specific changes in the law, what employers should be doing to prepare for these changes, how the amendments should be considered when planning a reduction in force prior to the effective date of the law, and what are the unanswered questions that will perplex employers beyond April 10, 2023. In addition, we will review the status of the pending challenge to the severance pay requirements and its potential impact on employers planning for mass layoffs, or transfers & terminations of operations, in the State of New Jersey.
