Program Summary

This program will provide an advanced analysis of legal trends and strategies for defending data privacy, cybersecurity breach, and TCPA class action suits, and will provide attendees with over 100 pages of case cites and useful materials. Ian Ballon, defense litigator and author of the leading treatise on Internet law (http://www.ianballon.net/), will outline the best defense strategies for confronting putative class action suits and analyze circuit splits and trends in the law. Among other things, this program will address case law and strategy for defending or settling CPRA, BIPA, TCPA, and other state and federal claims. The program will also address the phenomenon of mass arbitration and how to confront it in cybersecurity, data privacy, and TCPA putative class action suits.
