To make matters worse, TV, movies, and dramatic fiction play to an audience that expects lawyers to shout at the witness during cross-examination – “YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH!” The unfortunate “truth” is that even in the real world, many lawyers market themselves as being “aggressive” or they are endorsed by other lawyers as such. In this presentation, we will cover whether an aggressive approach to practicing law is an effective approach.
