Arthur K. Shaffer is an attorney with Intellectual Property Center at McDowell Rice, Smith, & Buchanan in Kansas City, Missouri. Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked as a controls engineer for some of the largest and most demanding projects around the world.
In addition to being today’s presenter, and founder of Intellectual Property Center, which operated independently for 20 years before teaming up with McDowell Rice, Mr. Shaffer has worked as an educator, lecturer, mediator, consultant and expert witness on various intellectual property matters across the U.S.
By focusing on intellectual property, Mr. Shaffer has helped entrepreneurs and businesses around the country protect and promote their patents, copyrights and trademarks.
