Program Summary

Session l - How to Win the Battle of the Experts

Most trials are decided based on the experts which are presented to the jury. Jurors make decisions as to which experts are believable and credible. Those same jurors judge the attorney’s conduct and intent based on the experts’ ability to convey information in a fair and balanced manner. If you want to maximize your client’s case, this seminar is for you. An attorney who presents biased or unqualified experts is doing a disservice to their client. This seminar will present how to bring out the best in your experts and determine the best avenues of discrediting your adverse attorney’s experts.

Key topics to be discussed:

  • Experts’ ability to convey information in a fair and balanced manner
  • Present how to bring out the best in your experts
  • Determine the best avenues of discrediting your adverse attorney’s experts

Session ll - Ethical Pitfalls During Trial

Jurors also want to make sure the attorney and the client are worthy of their time, attention and ultimately their verdict. The attorney needs to make a good first impression which lasts from voir dire through closing argument. The fastest way to lose jurors is playing word games and being exposed for questionable conduct. This seminar is helpful to disclose potential ethical pitfalls which occur during trial.

Key topics to be discussed:

  • Jury Selection
  • Opening Statement
  • Direct and Cross-Examination
  • Closing Arguments
