The wireless carriers are in the midst of a massive upgrade to their wireless networks, known as 5G. At the same time regulators are seeking improvements to the resiliency of these networks by requiring the installation of backup power generators and batteries. In this course landlords will learn current best practices and ways to protect your interests in negotiating leases, licenses, and easements to allow wireless companies to use your real property, buildings and vertical infrastructure such as light poles for wireless deployments and upgrades. The speakers will discuss recent actions by the Federal Communications Commission to facilitate wireless installations and the key differences in the authority of private and public entity landlords
