Ana Ramirez Toft-Nielsen has over twelve years of experience in higher education services and providing legal research training and support to law schools and law firms. In her current position, she organizes, conducts, and trains incoming associates, laterals and partners in legal research techniques, strategies and litigation preparation. She received her my J.D. from the University of Miami and practiced in the areas of commercial litigation, business immigration and intellectual property. After practicing, she worked in the legal research area and later received a Masters in Library Sciences from Florida State University. In addition, she is an adjunct professor at Florida International University College of Law and an active member in the American Association of Law Libraries.
