A primer on the newly created Copyright Claims Board, including its development, procedures, and possibilities. This CLE will explore the origins of the Copyright Claims Board (“CCB”) and its purpose.
We will then discuss the procedures for bringing a claim, prosecuting the claim, and options after a determination. Finally, we will look at the use of the CCB so far and how attorneys, companies and copyright owners should strategically consider the CCB as an option.

Mike is actively involved in intellectual property registration, licensing and litigation throughout the United States and internationally. He frequently represents clients in Federal Court and specializes in actions and negotiations across the spectrum of intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, advertising, trade secrets, publishing and endorsements.
