This session covers the essential legal and business terms required in every SOW, including scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and change control provisions. Participants will learn how limitation-of-liability and IP clauses shift risk in cloud transactions, strategies for aligning SOWs with SLAs to eliminate ambiguity, and practical negotiation tactics drawn from real-world SaaS deals.
A short intermission between sessions. Participants can take this opportunity to refresh before the next segment.
This session explores how legal teams can optimize their involvement in SOW review by developing risk-based review thresholds and empowering business partners to handle routine contract matters. Attendees will learn to create roles and responsibilities matrices, build effective templates and playbooks, and identify the right contract review AI technology to address operational, substantive, and data-related pain points.
