Why Attend

Why this
program matters

In a high-volume, automated practice environment, disability attorneys who lack intentional client communication skills risk weaker evidence, reduced cooperation, and avoidable breakdowns in representation.
500k+
hearing and appeal dispositions are issued by SSA each year, making consistent, high-quality client communication an essential professional skill at every stage of disability representation.
276k
disability hearings were pending at SSA’s historic low point reported in 2025, meaning attorneys must maximize the quality of every client interaction during the representation period.
60
days shorter average hearing wait times were reported by SSA in 2025 compared with summer 2024, compressing the timeline in which attorneys must develop strong client relationships and case records.
885k
initial disability claims remained in backlog in SSA’s FY 2025 Annual Financial Report, underscoring the scale of the practice environment in which client-centered advocacy must be consistently applied.
