Julia has significant experience assisting clients in drafting and negotiating their complex commercial contracts, particularly technology-centric agreements and machine learning and artificial intelligence matters. For both service providers and users, she reviews and negotiates contracts and develops template agreements. She also supports businesses on an array of privacy, cybersecurity, data breach and data governance matters. She regularly assists clients with the design and development of privacy sensitive policies for the collection and use of personal data, incident response, information governance, and vendor management.

She works closely with business units and cybersecurity teams on risk mitigation strategies and data privacy impact assessments, as well as assists with responding to consumer privacy complaints and regulatory inquiries.
