Aaron Minc is widely regarded as the pioneer of internet defamation law, with over 14 years of experience and founding the first law firm in the world dedicated exclusively to this highly niche area. As a trailblazer in this field, Aaron has successfully litigated hundreds of cases across the U.S. and other countries. His expertise has made him the go-to attorney for clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies facing online defamation crises.

Aaron’s expert commentary and work have been cited in numerous media and industry publications, including Yale Law Journal, the BBC, Law 360, France 24, Daily Mail, Hastings Law Journal, Vermont Law Review, The Guardian, The Washington Post, NY Post, Vice, Huffington Post, and ABC News.

Daniel Powell is the Managing Partner and Chair of the Internet Defamation Practice at Minc Law. With over 15 years of litigation experience, Dan has played an integral role in making Minc Law the nation’s leading firm in online defamation and harassment matters. He focuses on delivering winning strategies for clients facing internet-related attacks.

As a seasoned litigator, Dan has an impressive track record of victories in both the courtroom and the digital realm. He has successfully represented clients in various state and federal courts at all levels of judicial proceedings, serving as lead counsel in jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, mediations, administrative hearings, and appellate proceedings. Dan’s trial successes include securing a seven-figure judgment for individual clients against a Fortune 1000 company and a six-figure award for a non-profit organization, both involving findings of actual malice.

Outside of his legal practice, Dan is dedicated to giving back to the community. He serves as a board member of the Eastside Kickers youth soccer club and volunteers with youth sports organizations in the Greater Cleveland area. Dan is also a member of the William K. Thomas American Inn of Courts and actively mentors’ new lawyers through the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Lawyer to Lawyer Mentoring Program. Dan frequently shares his insights on evolving internet defamation issues through speaking engagements and publications. He is licensed to practice law in Ohio, holding a J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law and a B.A. from Greensboro College.
