Florida CLE Requirements
CLE requirements for Florida attorneys.
Required credits
Every three (3) years, Florida attorneys are required to earn 30 credits, including 5 Specialty Credits (may include legal ethics, professionalism, substance abuse or mental health and wellness). Two (2) out of those five (5) credits must be the mandatory Florida Legal Professionalism course (provided by the Florida State Bar).
**All attorneys are assigned a reporting period upon admission to The Florida Bar.
Self-Study/On-Demand credits
Both live and on-demand classes count toward credited hours.
