Ohio CLE Requirements
CLE requirements for Ohio attorneys.
Required credits
Ohio attorneys are required to earn 24 credits every 2 years, including 2.5 credits in Professional Conduct: Legal Ethics, Professionalism, Mental Health or Substance Abuse Issues, Access to Justice, and Fairness in the Courts.
Self-Study/On-Demand credits
Effective January 1, 2023, the Supreme Court of Ohio permanently removed the self-study cap for attorneys. All credit hours can be completed through any format.
