Virginia CLE Requirements
CLE requirements for Virginia attorneys.

Required credits
Virginia attorneys are required to earn 12 credits every year, including 2 credits in Ethics/Professionalism.

• Due date for CLE: All credits are due by October 31st.
• Reporting credits: All credits must be reported by 4:45 pm EST on December 15th.
• Reporting attendance: Attorneys from Virginia must self-report their attendance.

Self-Study/On-Demand credits
A minimum of 4.00 credit hours must be taken as live programs and 8.00 credit hours can be taken as pre-recorded programs.
