We will provide an overview of several risk allocation techniques, explain several key insurance concepts and coverages, and examine samples of contractual insurance provisions.

We will also discuss how to establish effective loss control and claims submission strategies to mitigate risk and respond in the event of a claim.

Key topics to be discussed:

  • Key types of insurance policies, along with common terms and exclusions
  • Options for one party to be an “additional insured” on the other’s policy
