Nathan M. Crystal is an attorney and scholar widely recognized for his expertise in professional responsibility and contract law. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has advised individuals, law firms, and organizations on complex ethical and contractual issues and has served as an expert witness or consultant in more than 100 multimillion-dollar cases. A longtime academic, he is the Class of 1969 Professor Emeritus of Professional Responsibility and Contract Law at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he taught for 34 years, and currently serves as an adjunct professor at New York University. In 2011, he co-founded Crystal & Giannoni-Crystal, LLC, continuing his work in professional responsibility and contract law while contributing to global discussions on legal ethics.

Requirements
The Alabama State Bar MCLE Commission requires attorneys to complete 12 credits, including 1 ethics, by December 31 of each year. All credits must be reported by February 15 of the following year. A maximum of 12 credits, including 1 ethics credit, may be carried over for 1 year only.
