Program Summary

This Continuing Legal Education (CLE) webinar will examine the CROWN Act (Creating A Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair), which has been passed in 27 states and more than 40 localities. The CROWN Act has also been passed in the United States Virgin Island and Puerto Rico. Additionally, the CROWN Act is pending as federal legislation in Congress. Examples of protective hairstyles protected by the CROWN Act include braids, locs, and twists.
