Missouri CLE Requirements
CLE requirements for Missouri attorneys.

Required credits
Missouri attorneys are required to earn 15 credits, including 3 Ethics (professionalism, substance use, mental health, legal or judicial ethics, malpractice prevention, explicit or implicit bias, diversity, inclusion, or cultural competency) credits per year.

  • At least 1 of the three ethics credit hours must be devoted exclusively to explicit or implicit bias, diversity, inclusion, or cultural competency (elimination of bias). All specialty credits must be live classes.

Dates:

  • Due date for CLE: Credits are due by June 30th.
  • Reporting credits: All credits must be reported by July 31st.

Self-Study/On-Demand credits
Missouri attorneys are limited to (6) hours of on-demand CLE credits. The remaining (9) credit hours must be earned via live CLE events or live-streamed online webinars. All specialty credits must be live classes.
