This session explains prompt injection: instructions planted in PDFs, spreadsheets, emails, transcripts, and web pages that try to take over an AI assistant reviewing them. Attorneys will learn the common traps, from fake system messages and false urgency to requests for privileged files, and why an assistant may follow them. Attendees leave with a safer review workflow, sensible limits on tool permissions, and a simple way to test their own tools with harmless sample documents.
This session follows an AI-related data exposure from the first suspicious login through containment, investigation, and recovery. Attorneys will learn how to preserve evidence, assess what was exposed, protect privilege and work product, and meet regulatory, contractual, and insurer notice duties. Attendees leave with a response checklist covering communications with clients, carriers, and regulators, plus the controls, training, and vendor terms that reduce the next exposure.
