Forensic Rigor in Cloud and AI-Driven Collections

Cloud environments prevent traditional bit-stream forensic imaging, yet defensibility can still be achieved through documented leading practices, comprehensive metadata capture, and careful chain-of-custody procedures. This session examines common collection mistakes—from missing audit logs to incomplete document family rebuilding—and addresses how to responsibly validate AI-driven review tools.

Building a Cohesive Legal Narrative from Diverse Data

The most persuasive legal narratives combine what custodians said in documents and communications with what forensic evidence shows they actually did, presented chronologically with compelling visual demonstratives. Attendees will explore techniques including network link analysis, time series charts, and emerging courtroom technologies that translate complex technical data into accessible, decision-ready stories.

Mitigating Risk and Enhancing eDiscovery Trust

Cutting corners in modern eDiscovery exposes practitioners to sanctions, spoliation findings, deficient productions, and compromised expert testimony—risks that grow as data sources multiply and AI tools proliferate. This session provides proactive strategies including platform-specific legal hold instructions, collection-to-preserve approaches, endpoint imaging, and cross-functional collaboration to build a defensible, trustworthy eDiscovery practice.
