Widely published on weapons and self-defense matters including the book Missouri Weapons and Self-Defense Law. He co-produced the DVD Missouri Concealed Carry and Self-Defense Law. His article 'Concealed Weapons and the Travelers' Defense' was published in the March-April 2000 Journal of the Missouri Bar. He has a regular column in Concealed Carry Magazine titled 'It Doesn't Have to Make Sense, It's Just the Law' and contributed a chapter 'Bowie Knife Law' to Bowie Knives and Bayonets of the Ben Palmer Collection. He reviews books for the Army's Military Review magazine.

Member of the Missouri Bar Association, Clay County Bar Association, Special Forces Association, National Rifle Association, Second Amendment Foundation, Western Missouri Shooters Alliance, and Missourians for Personal Safety. Requirements

The Alabama State Bar MCLE Commission requires attorneys to complete 12 credits, including 1 ethics, by December 31 of each year. All credits must be reported by February 15 of the following year. A maximum of 12 credits, including 1 ethics credit, may be carried over for 1 year only.
