Pennsylvania CLE Requirements
CLE requirements for Pennsylvania attorneys.

Required credits
Pennsylvania attorneys are required to earn 12 credits every year, including 2 credits in Ethics, Professionalism, or Substance Abuse.

  • Due date for CLE: Attendance for a program must be submitted within 30 days of the course completion. The deadline for reporting the credits will be based on the Compliance Group assigned. 
  • Reporting credits: Attorneys are randomly assigned to one of three Compliance Groups with different deadlines to report their credits.
    • Group 1: April 30, 2024
    • Group 2: August 31, 2024
    • Group 3: December 31. 2024
  • Reporting attendance: myLawCLE reports attendance to the Pennsylvania State Bar.

Self-Study/On-Demand credits
A minimum of 6.00 credit hours must be taken as live programs and a maximum of 6.00 credit hours can be through pre-recorded programs.
