Vermont CLE Requirements
CLE requirements for Vermont attorneys.

Required credits
Vermont attorneys are required to earn 24 credits every 2 years, including 2 credits in Ethics, 1 credit in Attorney Wellness, and 1 credit in Diversity and Inclusion.

  • Due date for CLE: Credits are due by December 31st.
  • Reporting credits: All credits must be reported December 31st.
  • Reporting attendance: Attorneys in Vermont must self-report their attendance.

Self-Study/On-Demand credits
A minimum of 18 credits must be taken as live programs and 6 credits can be taken as “non-moderated programming without interactivity” programs.
