Wisconsin CLE Requirements
CLE requirements for Wisconsin attorneys.

Required credits
Wisconsin attorneys are required to earn 30 credits every 2 years, including 3 credits in Ethics and Professional Responsibility, which must be taken through live programs.

  • Due date for CLE: All credits are due by December 31st.
  • Reporting credits: All credits must be reported February 1st
  • Reporting attendance: Attorneys in Wisconsin must self-report their attendance to the Wisconsin Court System.

Self-Study/On-Demand credits
A minimum of 15.00 credit hours must be taken as live programs and a maximum of 15.00 credits hours can be taken as on-demand programs.
