Program Summary

Our CLE will focus on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and family law. Specifically, we will touch upon the use of AI to assist practitioners in the family law sphere and the pit falls associated. We will also discuss the use of AI in evidence, with a focus on domestic violence and what we can do to help our clients.

Stacey A. Cozewith is a Member and Chair of the Firm’s Family Law practice group. As a seasoned family law attorney, Stacey has over 20 years’ experience representing individuals in a full spectrum of family law matters, including, but not limited to, divorce proceedings, prenuptial agreements, cohabitation issues, relocation, domestic violence, civil union dissolution, college contribution, alimony negotiations, child support and custody arrangements, and equitable distribution.

Stacey approaches her practice with a unique blend of compassion and understanding, while also being a fierce advocate for her clients going through divorce and other family law related matters. She is a confident litigator, who regularly appears on behalf of her clients in trial proceedings in New Jersey Family Court. Stacey is also among what is only approximately two percent of all family law attorneys in New Jersey, to be designated a certified matrimonial attorney. This is a designation given by the New Jersey Supreme Court to family law attorneys who have demonstrated sufficient levels of experience, education, knowledge, and skill in matrimonial law practice.

In addition, Stacey is a certified mediator for the State of New Jersey and acts as a mediator and arbitrator in often complex family law matters. Prior to joining Saiber, Stacey was a Partner at a boutique family law firm based in New Jersey. Before entering private practice, Stacey served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas H. Dilts, P.J.F.P., Somerset County, from September 2004 through August 2005.

Stacey received her B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark.

Michelle Wortmann is an associate at Sarno da Costa D’Aniello Maceri LLC, focusing the entirety of her practice on family law matters. Prior to joining the firm, Michelle completed a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Marcella Matos-Wilson, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County, Family Part, from August 2015 to August 2016.

While attending law school, Michelle participated in the Seton Hall University Center for Social Justice Family Law Clinic, where she handled cases involving complex matrimonial issues, including custody and parenting time. She also completed various family law internships, including with the Honorable Daniel J. Yablonsky, J.S.C., and the Administration for Children’s Services in New York City. Michelle is a dedicated advocate for her clients and especially enjoys helping children and families.

Michelle is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the New York State Bar. She has been a member of New Jersey State Bar Association since 2015, and presently serves on the Family Law Executive Committee. She was previously the co-chair of the Young Lawyer’s Subcommittee of the Family Law Executive Committee from May 2022 to May 2024. She is also a member of the New Jersey Association for Justice, the Essex County Bar Association, the Morris County Bar Association, and the Barry Croland Family Law Inn of Court. Michelle was named to the Best Lawyers Ones to Watch List for 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 and was recognized as a Rising Star by New Jersey Super Lawyers in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

In January 2019, Michelle earned a Master of Arts degree in Child Advocacy. While earning her Masters, Michelle was inducted into the Alpha Epsilon Lambda Honor Society. Michelle attended Montclair State University for her undergraduate education, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, majoring in history and minoring in political science, while simultaneously completing the requirements to obtain her New Jersey Teaching Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing in Social Studies. While in college, Michelle was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Alpha Theta National Honors Societies.

Lindsey Moskowitz Medvin has worked with the firm since 2005. She practices exclusively in the area of family law, handling all issues pertaining to divorce, including equitable distribution, custody, child support and alimony, as well as post-judgment relief and pre-nuptial agreements. Lindsey also handles domestic violence matters and she has a particular passion for working with families of adoption.

Lindsey understands the importance of viewing the process comprehensively, yet guiding her clients in a unique manner suitable to their experience. She approaches each matter with perseverance coupled with compassion.

Prior to joining the firm, Lindsey served as law clerk to the Honorable Graham T. Ross, A.J.S.C., while at the same time assisting in both Family and Chancery matters. During her clerkship, Lindsey served as a mediator in the Special Civil Part of the Somerset Law Division.

Lindsey is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar, New York State Bar and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Mercer County Bar Association and Somerset County Bar Association. Lindsey is a Trustee for the Somerset County Bar Foundation, a past member of the District VII Ethics Committee and the Somerset County Family Law Inns of Court. Lindsey was previously recognized by her peers in the New Jersey legal community and was included in the list of New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars, issued by Thomson Reuters in 2012 and 2013.

Lindsey’s interest in family law began when she was very young. She used that interest to guide her through college, choosing a dual major in Psychology and Criminal Justice so that she could have the background to comprehensively address the issues surrounding family law matters. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, where she competed on the National Mock Trial team. Lindsey then received her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School where she competed on the American Trial Lawyers Association trial team and participated in Mock Trial Competitions.

Lindsey resides with her family in Monmouth County.
