Why Attend

Why this
program matters

Written discovery is where cases are won or lost long before trial. Attorneys who command these tools control the facts, those who don’t cede that control to opposing counsel.
26B
text messages are sent daily in the U.S., according to industry data. Evidence is recorded in real time through emails, texts, and iPhone records, and cases can be built on the information produced in written discovery.
80%+
of litigation spend goes to document review, per American Bar Association estimates. Attorneys who structure document requests strategically from the start avoid over-collecting, cut unnecessary storage costs, and keep their clients’ bills in check.
100%
of documents need authentication to get in front of a jury under Federal Rule of Evidence 901. Metadata tells the story behind every file: who created it, when, and whether it’s been altered. Attorneys who understand this get their documents admitted; those who don’t watch them get excluded.
50%+
of total litigation expenses can be attributed to discovery costs, according to research cited by Zapproved from U.S. Civil tort data. Attorneys who aggregate circumstantial evidence through precise interrogatories and requests for admission aren’t just building a stronger case, they’re directly controlling one of litigation’s largest cost drivers.
