Program Summary

This session is for legal professionals, financial advisors, and others connected to the cannabis industry looking to gain new insights on the state of the industry and where it may be headed. Cannabis has different constraints than traditional businesses and the still fledgling industry is seeing massive headwinds. Bankruptcies are on the rise and consolidation is a natural next step. State and federal regulations will make this especially difficult as will continuing labor constraints and other economic concerns. In this session we will review these concerns and include a summary of the macro-economic factors driving the Cannabis industry and an analysis of the current state of the market and restructuring considerations.

Key topics to be discussed:

  • Capital Cost Structure
  • Labor
  • Supply chain
  • Competition/Differentiation
  • Restructuring Alternatives
