Why Attend

Why this
program matters

Understanding law firm compensation structures is essential for every attorney because your earning potential is directly tied to business metrics you must learn to control, measure, and communicate.
20%
Am Law 200 firms increased lateral partner hiring in 2025, reaching 4,152 hires, signaling attorneys who understand portable market value are in the most competitive lateral talent environment.
8.3%
Am Law 100 firms raised billing rates in 2025, the second-largest increase in four years, meaning attorneys who understand rate structures and revenue contribution directly influence their compensation ceiling.
88%
The average law firm realization rate in 2025, meaning about 12% of billed work never converts to collected revenue, reducing the firm profit pool from which attorney compensation is paid.
62%
Of lateral partners fail to deliver projected collections during interviews and due diligence, underscoring why attorneys must understand origination, portable business value, and realistic revenue expectations.
