Why Attend

Why this
program matters

Attorneys who cannot challenge OEQ-based vocational testimony allow disability claims to be decided on job numbers that are fundamentally disconnected from actual labor market conditions.
830k
disability claims were currently pending at SSA, each one turning on the quality of vocational evidence that attorneys must be equipped to challenge effectively.
265
days is the average ALJ hearing wait time at SSA, making flawed VE testimony at Step 5 especially costly after years of waiting for a decision.
64%
of initial SSDI claims were denied in 2025, with Step 5 vocational testimony frequently serving as the deciding factor in whether a claimant prevails or loses.
2.3M
disability claims were processed by SSA in FY2025, meaning every Step 5 denial relying on flawed OEQ data represents a potentially appealable and reversible decision.
