650%
Increase in juror retention when oral communication is combined with visual presentation compared to oral presentation alone. (Weiss-McGrath Report, McGraw-Hill, 1992)
35%
Of jurors tell stories relating cases to themselves when making sense of trial information, filling gaps attorneys leave in incomplete narratives. (Storytelling, Self, Society research)
73%
Of the impact of statistics on beliefs fades within one day, while story impact fades only 32%, showing stories’ superior retention. (Quarterly Journal of Economics, Oxford Academic, 2024)
