Program Summary

Krystle Delgado and Jessica Lee Weiss with Delgado Delgado Entertainment Law, PLLC will explore effective strategies for drafting demand letters, including using language and tone choices, when it is advantageous to utilize laymen's terms in your writing, and also leveraging the opponent's communications against them. Krystle Delgado is the CEO of Delgado Entertainment Law, PLLC and a top intellectual property and entertainment attorney. Mrs. Weiss has built a diverse career spanning 20+ years in the fields of business and entertainment She started out interning as much as possible during her college and law school years, working in Film, Television, and Music at organizations as Viacom, Weinstein (Music Licensing), and The Agency Group. She went on to work for for several premiere venues in the Southern California market, as The Greek Theatre, The Pantages Theatre, and The Santa Barbara Bowl. Her passion for music, business and the law was well cultivated when she worked directly with Ziggy Marley & the Bob Marley Estate. Her day to day duties encompassed a wide variety of aspects including management, helping run the Marley record labels, publishing, distribution, touring, recording, and merchandising & micensing. Mrs. Weiss has vast experience in negotiating, reviewing, and drafting agreements on behalf of talent and business owners, as recording artists, influencers, talent agencies, record labels, video game developers and artists, tech developers and investors, distributors, digital service providers, music producers, writers, and reality star clients across a wide array of business endeavors.
