Program Summary

This webinar provides a comprehensive summary of family law. Registrants will learn what they need to know to represent a client in family court from the first client interview to settlement or trial of the case. Marriage and relationships like marriage give rise to rights and obligations for all involved. Every relationship is unique and when differences arise those differences are controlled by the Superior Court in most states. In New Jersey, where the presenter practices family law, all family matters are controlled by the New Jersey Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part. Civil family actions expressly include all actions in which the principal claim is unique to and arises out of a family or family-type relationship. The family court is governed by court rules in all states.
