This online seminar provides a concise and thorough outline of IRC Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges for real estate, tax, estate planning and other attorneys. The course covers what is a 1031 exchange and critical IRS deadlines in a delayed exchange. Identify the requirements for executing a successful section 1031 exchange, including "like-kind" and "qualified use”. Define what types of real property qualify and do not qualify for a 1031 exchange.
