Program Summary

Building relationships can be challenging in a legal environment and yet also extremely valuable for our success. Whether we’re aiming to build our legal network, advance our careers, better serve our clients, or build a book of businesses, knowing how to build trust is a fundamental skill to continue to master in this environment. If we want to master it, let’s spend some time investigating trust, especially for those in the legal profession. In this program, we will explore the role of trust in legal and business relationships and the various ways to engender trust with others.

Key topics to be discussed:

  • Importance of trust in client and professional relationships
  • Identifying who trusts you and whom you trust within your legal network and understanding how those dynamics developed
  • Strategies to deepen trust with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders by reflecting on your existing professional relationships
